bohna wipIt is not a small street, nor a backstreet, but a street relative to its people. The shop keepers’ sons know each other and chase bicycle wheels with sticks down it. Small feet, clumsy feet plod on its old cobbles, thrumming familiarity. Under doorways and in living rooms mothers and wives argue with their husbands over work. They say “Too much work,” or “Not enough work.” to husbands and fathers that either nod silently or clench their teeth, lips pressed tightly together until their temper bursts. Voices rise over the yard walls and the neighbors next door close their windows, shaking their heads at one another. &nb bohna wip

all the decency leftWhy do they smoke? They are sad, gray people sometimes I think, holding onto what decency they have left after they’ve been beaten like dogs. They’re rabid packs of gentlemen curs in coats with ominous clouds of smoke above them. When I look at them, their lips are just as gray as their hearts and the fumes of the cigarette in their mouth. They inhale like it’s the only thing keeping them alive.
When I look at him, I know it’s the only thing keeping him alive.

They puff those cigarettes while they’re scrambling around on their hands and knees, trying to gather up that decency with one hand a all the decency left

When she first saw the house, it didn't seem all that terrible. It was like rolling hills to her, although she had only seen rolling hills in pictures of mountains. There was nothing fluid about its structure, but it had a substantiality that made her feel reassured. Reassured that it would remain there through the changes good and bad, rolling over them one by one like gentle waves that destroy little boats and little people. Concerning the bastardization of Nazi leaders...

You know what annoys the hell out of me? Shallowness. Especially when it comes to this 'fangirling' bullshit.

Yes, I call it bullshit. This hypocritical since I could easily be classified as a fangirl but GOD nothing makes my blood boil like the utter bastardization of historical figures by girls (and some boys i imagine) who run around screaming 'KAWAII' and throwing dicks together.

This is likely to disgust a great deal of people, but I DEEPLY and PASSIONATELY admire Doctor Joseph Goebbels. He's not mainstream cute, attractive, or what have you not, but he was an intelligent man with a personality I can identify with. I find his story very tragic in that someone who was such an intellectual with so much potential dumbed themselves down to the ranks of Hitler and his lot.

This was a man who revolutionalized the power of the media. His manipulation of the masses was no less than awe-inspiring for the time. He was the brains and the drive behind the entire thing.

Of course you have to mock him. I mean, christ, just look at the guy. He's short, had a gimp leg, ears that were too big for his head, and serious, serious issues with society. Along with any other myriad of things. Plus, what he was involved with seems to warrant him hate. Sure. Personally I abhor what the Nazis did, and hate supremists of any kind. I LOATHE neo-nazis and would love to beat them into a pulp if I was so capable.

But this does not take away from the...well, brilliance put into it. It's like admitting your enemy is pretty damn smart. It's true and makes you uncomfortable, but you have to admit it even if you continue to hate them.

That's why I admire him. Or anyone. I have a small list of people that I respect and admire in history, and in everyday life.

The feminization for 'lulz' of course greatly amuses me, but I would never forget the deeds anyone did. Defending the innocence of someone who is not innocent is just plain...stupid. Illogical. If you can't deal with it, then get the fuck out.

These Nazi leaders that people of late seem to be fangirling and obsessing over killed THOUSANDS, MILLIONS of people. There was torture, manipulation, and many deeds of inhumanity. Deal with it. If you can accept this fact, recognize it, and still admire or like or love or whatever these figures then fine. Just be goddamn REALISTIC about it.
